I have always loved creating, building and making things. Since childhood I sensed the freedom and innate self hood in the act of creation. I took my studies in Garden Design in 2003 and I began painting full-time in 2009. Nature; from the various places I have lived ; have always been a muse for me, from the prairies to the jungles of my childhood, to the gardens of the Pacific Northwest. Most of my paintings are taken from my imagination and it is in the act of painting that each image becomes clear. Painting is how I express what it means to be human, to be myself in this lifetime and I am grateful for it.
